We will present a very interesting product offered by our G-Flake® brand, called graphene paper. While the previously presented materials, namely graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO), are often offered by other manufacturers, graphene paper can be considered as a custom product with significant commercial potential.
Graphene paper can be treated as a light, thin, flexible freestanding material, which can be produced using both GO and RGO, determining its utility properties. It is worth noting that the production of large sheets of graphene paper can pose significant technological challenges. In this regard, the Flake Graphene Research Group, operating at Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics, has patented a technology for fabrication of large sheets with option of further increasing the sheet size in the future.
Additionally, our graphene paper consists solely of GO or RGO flakes – no plasticizers are added to the composition. However, on Customers’ request there is a possibility of producing composite sheets with some additives to yield the paper new functionalities.
The applications we are working on in the context of graphene paper include, among others, materials for energy storage applications, efficient heat dissipation, or radiation absorbers. These are just a few of the potential applications, and there are many more.
