He completed his master’s thesis at the Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie in 2011, and in 2012, he moved to the Politechnika Warszawska and joined the BioMaterials Group WUT as a PhD candidate. His doctoral dissertation, defended in 2017, concerned microscopic methods for measuring selected surface properties of biodegradable, nanofibrous tissue engineering scaffolds.

Since then, he has focused my efforts on implementing microscopic techniques, especially atomic force microscopy, for qualitative and quantitative descriptions of surface-related phenomena of materials for potential tissue engineering applications.

So far, he has written and co-authored over 40 scientific papers. His previous experiences have directed his current scientific activities towards biomedical applications of flake graphene materials. As the leader of a research group, he strives to motivate younger colleagues and create the best possible conditions for their development. He believes that being a leader is not the same as being a boss and that without continuous development and overcoming one’s limitations, achieving long-term success is not possible. He tries to instill this philosophy in his team as well. He hopes that together we will be able to accomplish many interesting things!
